| Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) | • Candidates applying for the post must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized Board/Institution/University: (a) ITI / Apprenticeship Qualification Matriculation / SSLC along with an ITI certificate approved by NCVT/SCVT in any of the following trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright / Maintenance, Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic OR • Matriculation / SSLC along with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in any of the above-mentioned trades. B. Diploma / Degree Qualification Matriculation / SSLC along with a three-year Diploma in any of the following Engineering disciplines, or a combination thereof, from a recognized institution: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering. Note: Candidates possessing a Degree in the above-mentioned Engineering disciplines shall also be considered eligible in lieu of a Diploma qualification. |

| The recruitment process shall involve a. Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) b. CBAT c. Document Verification d. Medical Examination Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of above-mentioned recruitment stages. The date, time and venue for all the activities viz. CBT, CBAT, Document Verification, Medical Examination or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Request for postponement of any of the above activity or for change of venue, date and shift will not be entertained under any circumstances. |
