The examination is scheduled for 06 September 2026; in case the number of candidates increases, it may also be conducted on 05 September 2026. |

| NCTE Minimum Qualification | • Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications prescribed by NCTE, as amended and notified from time to time, for teaching staff in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary/Intermediate Schools or Colleges. |
| Applicable Recruitment Rules | • Qualifications prescribed under the Recruitment Rules of the Appropriate Government where the school is situated shall apply. For KVS/NVS, their respective Recruitment Rules shall apply. |
| Eligibility Responsibility | • Candidates must satisfy their eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible if they are not eligible. |
| CTET & Appointment | • Being allowed to appear in CTET does not mean eligibility has been verified and does not confer any right to appointment. |
