| About Exam : | NTA conducts the UGC-NET on behalf of the UGC to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and JRF roles in Indian universities and colleges. Since December 2018, the exam has been held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It consists of two papers, and selection for JRF and/or Assistant Professorship is based on the combined performance in both. UGC-NET is held twice a year, in June and December. |
